What the beta does
You record or import a take. KatVid listens to what you said, finds the retakes, the dead air and the fumbles, and hands you a first cut: a proposal, not a finished video, ready in minutes rather than an evening.
You keep the final say
- Every AI cut is a suggestion you can drag back, split or delete in the editor.
- Your raw video never leaves your iPhone; only the audio is sent for transcription.
- Captions, text, overlays and exports are yours to finish, on your phone.
How invitations work
- Join the list with your email.
- When your turn comes, we email you a TestFlight invitation. TestFlight is Apple's app for beta software; the invitation installs KatVid through it.
- Sign in on your iPhone with the same account you use here. Beta testers get a set number of AI edits per month during the beta, no card required.
Beta builds change and sometimes break. Early access is free and can be withdrawn; it isn't a subscription, and nothing is charged. Paid plans arrive with the App Store launch — see pricing.
